Many internet service providers work on the basis that not everyone will be connected and contending for bandwidth at the same time. Therefore they offer the same bandwidth to 20 or more customers. Inevitably this leads to congestion as individual customers compete for a “share” of the bandwidth they have already paid for and as a result, suffer with reduced speeds, data loss and poor performance for all. This ratio of no. of customers to bandwidth is known as the contention ratio.

Connexus provides a 1:1 contention ratio to each of our customers to ensure fast download speed is maintained, even during peak business hours.

Our ADSL service, at up to 20Mbps, is fast, available as a standalone service, or can be incorporated into a multi-site MPLS virtual private network.

Connexus employs a team of technical specialists who can assess your immediate and future needs and help to determine the most appropriate products and/or services for your business.

Our ADSL services are compatible with literally hundreds of different types of modems and routers and because Connexus uses the existing copper telephone wire infrastructure our network is widely available across Australia.
