While all bandwidth traffic experiences latency (delays) from time to time, the advantage of a combined fibre and copper solution is that the latency is comparable to a fibre only solution but at a lower cost, both for installation and day-to-day operation.

Low latency also means that data flow in either direction (upload or download) is continuous which is ideal for business applications such as data archiving, disaster recovery backup, high speed web browsing, networks and VoIP.
