Hybrid
Given the challenge of creating a product that could deliver superior speeds and greater resiliency utilising existing technology, the in-house team of network engineers at Connexus created our Hybrid service (ADSL3).
With speeds up to 30Mbps/11Mbps the Hybrid solution certainly delivers on speed which makes it ideal for businesses utilising content applications, remote backup, co-location or operating multi-site offices.
The resiliency comes in the form of greater redundancy, meaning that downtime is avoided should a network outage occur. This can be achieved because the Hybrid solution comprises two conjoined yet independent technologies. If one line goes down the service continues to operate.

So how was the Connexus Hybrid solution achieved?
By bonding ADSL2+ with symmetric services and customising the configurations in the Cisco routers at both the customer’s premises and in our core network, our network engineers were able to create a class-leading ADSL3 product delivering unique throughput ratios suited to networked business operations or those companies with content delivery requirements, both of which require high bandwidth use.
Connexus supports the Hybrid service with access to detailed service statistics including throughput and router performance in addition to our superior standards of more than 1 gigabit of international internet backbone capacity, dedicated customer bandwidth ratios of 1:1 (no sharing of bandwidth) and free, responsive and locally based Help Desk support, 7 days a week.
