Requiring no software or hardware changes WebControl resides within our core network and is integrated directly into your Connexus internet connection to provide a clear picture of how your company’s internet resources are being used.

WebControl can deliver detailed, easy-to-read PDF reports via email on a daily, weekly or monthly basis which provide an in-depth view of how internet access time is being used.

WebControl can reveal:

Web usage by individual users or department;
The most popular websites and the users visiting them;
The largest downloads with a link to the content and the user responsible;
Bandwidth use by content type such as streaming audio or video;
Statistics on search engine queries and every search term entered by users;
Charts and statistics comparing overall internet use by month, week and hour.

As well as the reporting capability, WebControl can block specific websites or even material by file or content type at either department or individual level. Site categories such as online shopping, social networking, job seeking or adult content can be removed, giving control to the organisation and preventing inappropriate material being downloaded and distributed.

Informing employees that this level of transparency and control is available is often enough to discourage activity that is inappropriate or which could expose the organisation to legal risk.
